Arguments for an innovative product

1. Heating energy savings per device and year: app. 30 l of heating oil or m³ of NG. A typcial Home (156 m²): app. 170 l heating oil or m³ of NG (Device calculation M-WRG, see Cataloguq section 5 "Planning regulations EnEV"; Applicable to Germany only).

2. CO2-reduction: Per device (20 m²) and year: app. 94 kg = 0,09 t. Typical home (156 m²) per year: app. 490 kg = 0,49 t (Device calculation M-WRG, see Cataloguq section 5 "Planning regulations EnEV"; Applicable to Germany only).

3. Low energy house standard (EnEV) is economically achieved with M-WRG through inclusion in the yearly heating energy account.

4. Safeguarding of the building substance of residential buildings in two respects. After construction

the building holds many litres of moisture. The so-called “drying time” of the residential building is reduced from 2-3 years to mere months by employment of permanent air circulation.(depending on wall thickness and materials used) When the Home is occupied, the humidity produced by cooking, washing, breathing ,houseplants etc. is taken out and in that way the creation of mould and other hazards are prevented.

5. Good health and feeling well. A new dimension: Clean, pre-heated air is brought in without draughts (windows) and is permanently replacing the used air (CO2, mites, fumes from carpets and furniture). Symptoms of tiredness due to lack of oxygen and the conditions for asthma are effectively counteracted. Pollen protection through filtration. Allergic people can breathe easy. The filtration can be managed right down to micro biological level..

6. Safety: The fresh air is brought in without ever opening the windows. The desired air circulation is ensured whether it is day or night, or even when the inhabitants are out on holidays. Windows accidentally left open and the resulting danger of burglary, are all history.

7. Prevention of outside noise pollution: The position of a residential object is not always optimal. The traffic noise caused by cars, trams or an otherwise noisy environment can significantly decrease the quality of living. Therefore the windows in such places are seldom or never opened. The comfort of the inhabitants suffers and so does the building substance (see 4 + 5). The M-WRG device only needs 2x100 mm holes for inlet and outlet in comparison to a window. Moreover, the outside noise is “broken” in the device by its diversion. A decisive advantage in comparison to some other de-centralized products, since the M-WRG can ensure the necessary noise level even in objects with higher noise protection requirements, while retaining the desired air circulation.

8. De-centralized system (wall unit): Ventilation ducting for the transport of air to the desired spot, common in centralized systems, is not necessary. Costly preliminary planning is no longer needed, neitherare additional works during the building process. Concerns for hygiene due to mould forming and the necessary maintenance and cleaning of the ducting (such as VDI 6022) and all connected costs do not apply here.

9. Minimal energy consumption: The energy consumption of the two fans (total of app. 5,2 Watt per unit at 30 m³/h) for required air movement can be kept very low as only the house wall thickness(app. 13-60 cm) needs to be “surmounted”. The central system on the other hand has to transport the air in house across several meters of ducting length.
